Determination of Some Heavy Metals in Patato, Apple and Corn by Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy

Özet

Bu çalışmada, Burdur bölgesinde yetiştirilen ve Burdur Merkez yerel pazarından satın alınan patates, elma ve mısır örneklerinde bazı ağır metallerin (As, Bi, Cd, Co, Cu, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, V, Zn) tayini indüktif eşleşmiş plazma optik emisyon spektroskopisi (ICPOES) ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Patates ve elma örnekleri kuru yakma, mısır örnekleri ise yaş yakma tekniği kullanarak çözünür hale getirilmiştir. ICPOES tekniği ile örneklerin kantitatif analizinde kalibrasyon yöntemi kullanılmış ve sonuçlar %95 güven seviyesinde verilmiştir.

Abstract

In this study, the heavy metals (As, Bi, Cd, Co, Cu, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Sb, V, Zn) in the patato, apple and corn samples grown in Burdur Region and obtained from Burdur Center local bazaar were determined by Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICPOES). Potato and apple samples were solubilized using dry ashing, while corn samples were solubilized using wet ashing technique. The calibration method was applied for the quantitative analysis of the samples and the results are given at 95% of confidence level.
