Özet

Edirne Arkeoloji Müzesi, Türkiye Trakyası’nda kurulan ikinci müzedir. Müzenin kuruluşundan 2015 yılına kadar toplamda 657 metal buluntu envantere kaydedilmiştir. Edirne Arkeoloji Müzesi envanterinde yer alan ve bu çalışmanın ana malzemelerini oluşturan buluntular, müze kurtarma kazılarından ve Türkiye Trakyası’nın çeşitli merkezlerinden gelmiştir. Bu grup, altı adet fibula, üç adet tintinnabulum, dört adet ok ucu, üç adet sapan tanesi, dört adet sonda ve kaşık, iki adet strigilis, iki adet styluslar, birer adet ayna, el iği ve sella curulis olmak üzere 27 buluntudan oluşturmaktadır. MÖ 10 - MS 5. yüzyıllar arasına tarihlendirilen bu buluntu grubunun üretiminde, ağırlıklı olarak bronz olmak üzere kurşun ve demir kullanıldığı görülmüştür.

Abstract

Edirne Archaeology Museum is the second museum which was founded in the Thrace region in Turkey. A total of 657 metal finds was recorded in the inventory from the foundation of the museum to 2015. The main materials of this study, housed in the Edirne Archaeology Museum inventory, were recovered from the museum’s rescue excavations and from various centers in the Turkish Thrace region. This group consists of 27 finds including six fibulae, three tintinnabula, four arrowheads, three slingshots, four probes and spoons, two strigils, two styluses, one mirror, hand spindle and sella curulis. It was observed that lead, iron and mainly bronze were used in the production of these finds which are dated between 10th century BC and 5th century AD.
