Some Views of The Imam Maturidi Related With Theological Subjects as Manifested in His Work “Te’vilatu’l Qur’an”

Özet

Dokuzuncu yüzyıl İslam âlimlerinden olan Mâtürîdî’nin Ehli sünnet inancını ortaya koyduğu eserlerinden biri olan Te’vilâtü’l Kur’ân isimli çalışması bir çok ilmi alanda bilgi sunmaktadır. Ebû Mansûr Mâtürîdî, bu eserde kelam ilminin özellikle kelam ekolleri tarafından tartışılan konularına temas etmektedir. Mâtürîdî, kelami konuları işlerken, sadece konuyla alakalı olarak kendi görüşlerini sunmakla kalmamakta, o konu hakkında farklı ekollerin görüşlerine de ayrıntılı olarak temas etmektedir. Kullandığı nakli ve akli delillerle muhalif görüşü çürütmeye çalışmakta ve nihayetinde kendi tespitini isabetli görüş olarak sunmaktadır. Onun büyük günah meselesi, hidâyet ve dalâlet, ahirette Allah’ın görülmesi, kalplerin mühürlenmesi, cennet ve cehennemin ebediliği, aslah fikrinin reddi, imanda istisna gibi kelam ilminin tartışmalı konularında bu metodu takip ettiği görülmektedir.

Abstract

“Te'vilâtü'l Qur'an” which is one of the works of Islamic scholars of the 9th century, Mâturidî, who shows the belief in the People of Sunnah in this work, gives information in many scientific fields. In this work, Abu Mansur Mâtudii touches on the topics discussed by the kalam ( theological ) scholars, especially. Mâtulidi does not only present his own views on theological subjects, but relate to the subject in detail, and touches the views of the different schools of theological thoughts on that subject. He endeavours to refute the dissenting opinion with the use of conveyance and mental evidence, and ultimately presents his own findings as accurate views. It seems that he followed this method in his controversial issues related with great sins, mischief and malaise, the appearance of God in the Hereafter, the sealing of the hearts, the eternal heaven and hell, the rejection of the idea of aslah, the exception of iman.
