Özet
21. yüzyıl ile birlikte bilişim ve iletişim teknolojilerinin gelişmesi, ülkeler arası sınırları şeffaflaştırmıştır. İnsanlar artık bilgiye kolay erişmekte ve dünyanın farklı bir yerindeki başka ülke vatandaşlarıyla kolayca iletişim sağlayabilmektedirler. Günümüzde insanların ihtiyaçları ve gereksinimleri doğrultusunda sahip olduğumuz teknoloji her dakika değişmektedir. Blokzinciri bu değişimi hiçbir aracıya ihtiyaç duymadan değerli birçok verinin saklanmasına, yönetilmesine ve geliştirilmesine olanak sağlayan sanal bir platform olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bitcoin, Etherum, Ripple ve daha nicesi gibi birçok sanal parayı barındıran blokzinciri teknolojisi şu anki haliyle bir yatırım aracı olarak görülse de, gelecekte yapılacak geliştirmelerle sosyal yaşamın içerisindeki yerini alması olasıdır. Günümüzde eğitim alanına da yansıyan bu gelişmeler farklı birçok ülkenin ders müfredatında yerini almıştır. Lisans düzeyinde farklı bilim dallarına konu olan bu eğitim yavaş yavaş lise ve ortaokul öğrencilerinin derslerine de konu olmaktadır. Sosyal Bilgiler eğitiminin doğası sorumluluklarını bilen, değerlerine sahip çıkan, çağdaş, gelişime açık, bilgili, iyi vatandaş yetiştirmektir. Bu yüzden bireyi ve toplumu ilgilendiren her konu sosyal bilgilerin içeriğini oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı sosyal bilgiler öğretmen adaylarının blokzinciri üzerine görüşlerini ve bilgilerini öğrenmektir. Öğretmen adaylarının güncel konular ve teknolojik gelişmeler hakkında bilgi sahibi olması önemlidir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu sosyal bilgiler eğitimi anabilim dalında öğrenim gören 10 öğretmen adayı oluşturmuştur. Nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılan çalışmada veriler görüşme tekniği yoluyla toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yoluyla değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının birer dijital vatandaş olduğu, sanal paralar hakkında bilgilerinin yüzeysel olduğu ve Blokzinciri teknolojisi hakkında bilgilerinin yeterli düzeyde olmadığı ortaya çıkmıştır.
Abstract
The development of information and communication technologies in the 21st century has made the borders between countries transparent. People now have easy access to information and can easily communicate with citizens of other countries around the world. Nowadays, the technology we have in line with the needs and needs of people changes every minute. The blockchain is a virtual platform that enables the storage, management and development of many valuable data without the need for any tools. Blockchain technology, which includes many virtual currencies such as Bitcoin, Etherum, Ripple and more, is considered an investment tool in its current form, but it is likely to take its place in the social life with future developments. These developments, which are also reflected in the field of education, have taken their place in the curriculum of many different countries. This subject, which is subject to different disciplines at the undergraduate level, is also subject to the lessons of high school and middle school students. The nature of the social studies education is to educate a good citizen who knows the responsibilities, possesses the values, is contemporary, open to development and knowledgeable. Therefore, every issue that concerns the individual and the society is the content of social information. The aim of this study is to learn pre-service teachers' views and information on blockchain. It is important that prospective teachers have knowledge about current issues and technological developments. The study group consisted of 10 pre-service teachers studying social studies education. In this study, qualitative research method was used and data were collected through interview technique. The data were evaluated by content analysis. At the end of the research, it was found out that prospective teachers were digital citizens, information about virtual currencies was superficial and their knowledge about Blockchain is not sufficient.
