PARAMEDİK EĞİTİMİNDE MESLEKİ BECERİLERİN KAZANIMINDA AŞILMASI GEREKEN SÜREÇLER

PROCESSES TO BE OVERCOME IN THE ACQUISITION OF PROFESSIONAL SKILLS IN PARAMEDIC TRAINING

Özet

Günümüzde Tıp, Diş Hekimliği ve Sağlık Bilimleri Fakülteleri ile Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokullarının müfredat programlarında yer alan dersler, çekirdek eğitim programının varlığı, temel mesleki becerilerin uygulandığı fiziki alanlar, maketler, simülatörler ve eğiticilerin bu konudaki nitelikleri önemini korumaya devam etmektedir. Farklı ülkelerdeki aynı meslek gruplarına özgü eğitim ve uygulamalardaki yöntem, ortam, süre ve unvanlardaki değişimin de aynı şekilde önemini koruduğu görülmektedir. İlk ve Acil Yardım programı mezunları ambulanslarda, hastanelerin acil servislerinde ve farklı kurumlarda çalışacakları için okul süresince temel becerileri kazanması beklenmektedir. Bu derlemede farklı ülkelerin paramedik durumunun incelenerek ülkemizdeki İlk ve Acil Yardım Teknikerliği ön lisans programlarında yer alan dersler, temel beceriler, mesleki beceri laboratuvarının fiziki alanı, bulunması gerekli maketler, eğitimler, eğiticilerin niteliği ile simülasyon ünitesinin önemi vurgulanmaktadır. Bu derleme ile paramedik eğitiminde mesleki becerilerin kazanımında aşılması gereken süreçler ve akreditasyon sürecine ait önerilerin ortaya konulması amaçlanmaktadır.

Abstract

Today, the courses included in the Faculties of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences and Health Services Vocational Schools, the existence of the core education program, the physical areas where basic Professional skills are applied, the models, the simulators and the qualifications of the trainers continue to maintain their importance. It is seen that the changes in the methods, environment, duration and titles in the education and practices specific to the same occupational groups in different countries maintain their importance in the same way. Graduates of the First and Emergency Aid program are expected to gain basic skills during school, as they will work in ambulances, emergency services of hospitals and in different situations. In this review, the paramedic situation of different countries is examined and the courses in the First and Emergency Aid Technician associate degree programs in our country, basic skills, the physical area of the Professional skills laboratory, the necessary models, trainings, the quality of the trainers and the importance of the simulation unit are emphasized. With this review, it is aimed to reveal the processes that must be overcome in the acquisition of Professional skills in paramedic education and their commendations regarding the accreditation process.
