Özet
Amaç: Hastane öncesi acil sağlık hizmetleri, yaşam kurtarma ve durumun daha kötüye gitmesini önleme hedefleri bakımından hayati öneme sahiptir. İlk ve Acil Yardım Teknikeri, bu hedeflere yönelik hastane öncesi acil bakım veren sağlık profesyonelidir. Türkiye’de İlk ve Acil Yardım Teknikerliği (İAYT) eğitimi 1993 yılında, Sağlık Bakanlığında istihdamı ise 2004 yılında başlamıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ulusal mevzuat bağlamında Türkiye’de İAYT mesleğinin gelişim sürecini ortaya koymaktır.
Abstract
Objective: Prehospital emergency health services are of vital importance in terms of saving lives and preventing the situation from getting worse. First and Emergency Aid Technician is a health care professional who provides pre-hospital emergency care for these goals. First and Emergency Aid Technician (FEAT) training in Turkey started in 1993 and employment in the Ministry of Health in 2004. The aim of this study is to reveal the development process of the FEAT profession in Turkey in the context of national legislation.
