EURO’NUN GELECEĞİ VE GREXIT

Özet

Bu çalışmada Avrupa ortak para birimi Euro’nun dünya para piyasasındaki konumu ile 2008 Avrupa ekonomik krizinin Euro’ya olan etkileri incelenmiş. Krizden en fazla etkilenen ülkelerden biri olan Yunanistan’da oluşan kamu kesimi mali krizi sebepleriyle araştırılarak, Yunanistan’ın Euro birliğinden çıkmasının (Grexit) Euro bölgesinin geleceğine muhtemel etkileri araştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak Grexit’in mevcut AB hukukuna uygun olmadığı ve gerekli hukuki düzenlemeler yapılsa bile Avrupa Birliği’nin kritik eşiği aşana kadar Yunanistan’a yardım etmesi gerektiği ortaya çıkmıştır.

Abstract

In this study the position of European Union common currency in world money market and the effects of 2008 European economic crisis to Euro examined. The financial crisis occurred in Greece, which is the one of the most affected country from the economic crisis, searched with the causes and the possible effects of the outflow of Greece from Eurozone analysed. As a result the outflow of Greece from Eurozone is not possible because of the current law and even if the necessary legal arrangements are done the European Union should help Greece until it passes the critical threshold.
