Özet

Ekonomik büyüme, ihracat artışı ve Ar-GE harcamaları ile AR-GE harcamalarının bir sonucu olarak düşünülen patent sayıları son yıllarda oldukça önem kazanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, patent başvurularının yüksek teknoloji içeren ürünlerin ihracatının ve ARGE harcamalarının toplam ihracata etkisi incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler doğrusal regresyon analizine tabi tutularak incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak; yıllar itibariyle yüksek teknoloji ihracatı rakamlarında meydana gelen değişimlerin neredeyse tamamı AR-GE harcamaları ve patent başvuruları sayılarındaki değişimler ile açıklanabilmektedir. Bununla birlikte; her ne kadar model genel olarak anlamlı bulunmuşsa da analiz sonuçlarına göre patent başvuruları harcamaları ile yüksek teknoloji ürünlerin yıllık ihracata oranı arasında istatistiki olarak anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmamıştır. Bunun da en önemli sebebi zaten var olan ve aslında yeni olmayan buluş ve yöntemler için tekrar tekrar patent başvuru yapılması ve patent sayısının sayıca fazla görünmesi olarak söylemek mümkündür.

Abstract

The number of patents considered as a result of economic growth, increase in exports and R & D expenditures and R & D expenditures have gained importance in recent years. In this study, the effect of patent applications on export of high technology products and R & D expenditures on total exports were examined. The data obtained were examined by linear regression analysis. As a result; Almost all of the changes in the high technology export figures over the years can be explained by the changes in the number of R & D expenditures and patent applications. However; Although the model was found to be significant in general, according to the results of the analysis, there was no statistically significant relationship between the expenditures of patent applications and the ratio of high technology products to annual exports. The most important reason for this is the fact that the patent application is repeated repeatedly for the inventions and methods that are already existing and which are not actually new and that the number of patents appears to be high in number.
