Özet

Bu çalışmada, spor liselerinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin kişisel özellikleri ile gelecek beklentileri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma iki spor lisesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında Konya Spor Lisesi’nde (n=330), Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu Meral-Celal Aras Spor Lisesi’nde (n=286) öğrenim görmekte olan toplam 616 öğrenci çalışmanın evrenini oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma için etik kurul onayı alınmıştır. Veri toplamak amacıyla kullanılan birinci form, katılımcıların kişisel özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla araştırmacılar tarafından oluşturulmuştur. Bu formda spor lisesi öğrencilerine cinsiyetleri, yaşları, sınıfları, derslerinde başarılı olma ya da olmama durumları, gelecekten ümitli olma ya da olmama durumları sorulmuştur. İkinci form, Şimşek (2010) tarafından geliştirilmiş olan Gelecek Beklentisi Ölçeği (GBÖ)’dir. Çalışmadan elde edilen kategorik veriler frekans ve yüzde ile sürekli veriler ortalama ve standart sapma ile ifade edilmiştir. Veriler normal dağılım açısından Kolmogorov-Smirnov ve dağılım grafikleri ile incelenmiştir. Sürekli verilerin iki grup arasında karşılaştırılmasında bağımsız örneklem t testi, ikiden fazla grubun karşılaştırılmasında ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır. Abstract

In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between the personal characteristics of students studying at sports high schools and their future expectations. The research was carried out in two sports high schools. A total of 616 students studying at Konya Sports High School (n=330), Turkish Football Federation Meral-Celal Aras Sports High School (n=286) in the 2020-2021 academic year constitute the universe of the study. The form used to collect data was created by the researchers in order to determine the personal characteristics of the participants. In this form, sports high school students were asked questions about their gender, age, class, whether they were successful or not in their courses, and whether they were hopeful for the future or not. The second form is the Future Expectation Scale (FES), which was developed by Şimşek (2010). The necessary permission for the use of the scale was obtained from the relevant scientist. Categorical data obtained from the study were expressed as frequency and percentage, and continuous data were expressed as mean and standard deviation. The data were analyzed in terms of normal distribution with Kolmogorov-Smirnov and scatter plots. Independent sample t-test was used to compare continuous data between two groups, and ANOVA test was used to compare more than two groups.
