Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Uyuşturucu Madde Kullanım Alışkanlıkları ve Yaygınlığı: Aydın Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi Örneği

Özet
Aydın ili Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi öğrencileri arasında alkol ve uyuşturucu madde kullanım alışkanlıklarını ve yaygınlığını belirleyebilmek amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada üniversite gençleri arasında alkol ve madde kullanım nedenleri, sıklığı ve yaygınlığının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Aydın Adnan Menderes Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi(1267), Eğitim Fakültesi (2850), Fen- Edebiyat Fakültesi (3519), İletişim Fakültesi (381), Mühendislik Fakültesi (1304) ve Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksek Okulu’nda (1320) öğrenim görmekte olan 10.641 öğrenci arasından, tesadüfi örneklem yoluyla seçilen 2000 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak anket kullanılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre Araştırmaya katılanların %49,5’i alkol kullanmakta ve bu kişilerin %96,1’i alkolün zararlarını bilmektedir. Katılımcıların %6,8’i denemek için, %20,8’i arkadaş çevresinden dolayı, %3,9’u aile etkisiyle, %10,9’u sıkıntılarından kurtulmak için, %8,4’ü ise diğer nedenlerle alkol kullanmaktadır. Katılımcıların %7,5’i uyuşturucu madde kullanmakta ve bu kişilerin %8,8’i her gün, %21,9’i haftada bir kez, %10,2’si haftada iki veya daha fazla kez, %4,1’i ise ayda bir kez uyuşturucu madde kullanmaktadır. Kullanılan uyuşturucu maddelerin başında %56 ile esrar gelmektedir. En fazla kullanılan diğer uyuşturucu maddeler sırasıyla kokain ve ectasydir. Uyuşturucu madde kullanma nedenlerinin başında eğlenmek (%31,4), arkadaş çevresi (%23,6) ve denemek (%18,6) gelmektedir.
Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence and prevalence of alcohol and substance use among the university young people, the reasons for using these substances and the prevalence of substance use among adolescents in Adnan Menderes University. The study group of the study was conducted by Aydın Adnan Menderes University Faculty of Medicine (1267), Faculty of Education (2850), Faculty of Arts and Sciences (3519), Faculty of Communication (381), Faculty of Engineering (1304) and School of Physical Education and Sports (1320). Among the 10,641 students who were studying, 2000 students were chosen by random sampling. The questionnaire was used as data collection tool. According to the findings of the study, 49.5% of the participants were using alcohol and 96.1% of these people knew about the harm of alcohol. 6,8% of the participants stated that they used alcohol to try, 20,8% because of their friends, 3,9% to the family effect, 10,9% to get rid of their problems, and 8,4% other reasons use alcohol. 7.5% of the participants were using drugs and 8.8% of them were daily, 21.9% once a week, 10.2% twice or more times per week, 4.1%. i use drugs once a month. Cannabis was the most commonly used drug with 56%, while Ectacy had 11.1% and Cocaine 13.3%. The reasons for using drugs (31.4%), friends (23.6%) and trying (18.6%) were the reasons for using drugs.
