Özet
Amaç: Tavşan deneysel modelinde radyofrekansyardımıyla yapılan posterior transvers kordotomininuzun dönem sonuçları araştırıldı.Çalışma Planı: Çalışmaya alınan 10 Yeni Zelandatavşanına, intraperitoneal 20 mg/kg tiyopenthalanestezisi sonrası videolarengoskobik muayene yapıldı. Lokal lidokain infiltrasyon anestezisi sonrasında larengofissür yapılarak açığa çıkarılan vokalkordlardan yalnızca sağdakine radyofrekans Ellman Surgitron yardımıyla, kesme modunda posterior transvers kordotomi yapıldı. İşlemden sonra tiroitkartilaj anatomik pozisyonda kapatılarak üç ay süreyle takibe alındı. Takip süresi sonunda videolarengoskobik inceleme tekrarlandı. Deneklerin yaşamısonlandırılarak ameliyat bölgesi histolojik olarak incelendi.Bulgular: İzlem sonrasındaki videolarengoskobik incelemede, sağ vokal kord bölgesinde vokal kordlarınyeniden oluştuğu neo-kordojenez , histopatolojik incelemede ise cerrahi ile oluşturulan açıklığın granülasyon dokusu ve fibrozisle kapandığı gözlemlendi.Sonuç: Tavşan larenksinde radyofrekans posteriortransverse kordotomi ile oluşturulan açıklık geç dönemde granülasyon dokusu ve fibrozisle kapandı
Abstract
Objectives: We evaluated the long term results of radiofrequency-assisted posterior transverse cordo tomy in a rabbit model.Study Design: Ten healthy New Zealand rabbits were subjected to videolaryngoscopic examination following intraperitoneal anesthesia with 20 mg/kg thiopental. After local infiltration anaesthesia with lidocaine, a laryngofissure procedure and exposition of the vocal cords were carried out and posterior transverse cordo tomy was performed to the right vocal cord in the cutting mode using radiofrequency waves Ellman Surgitron . The thyroid cartilage was closed in anatom- ic position and the rabbits were followed-up for three months, after which videolaryngoscopic examination was repeated. The rabbits were then sacrificed for histopathologic examination. Results: At the end of the follow up period, video laryngoscopic examination showed neo-cordogene- sis in the right vocal cord region. Histological exam- ination showed closure of the operation site by granulation tissue and fibrosis. Conclusion: The opening created in the rabbit larynx using radiofrequency was filled by granulation tissue and fibrosis in the long-term
