Farabi’nin Adalet Anlayışı (Hak, Liyakat ve Pay Teorisi)

Özet

Farabi’nin adalet anlayışı hak-liyakat-pay ilkesine dayanmaktadır. Varlık, hak-liyakat-payilkesine göre çalışıyorsa; bu durumda insani işlerin olduğu bu dünyanın da hak-liyakat-payilkesine göre inşa edilmesi gerekir. Bir toplumda hak-liyakat-pay dengesi bozulduğundaadaletsizlik hemen baş gösterir. Farabi’ye göre adalet her zaman sevgiye tâbidir. Eş deyişleadalet, sevgiyi izler. Erdemli toplumda sevgi, öncelikle erdeme olan iştiraklerle meydanagelir. İştirakleri sevgi ile çoğaltmak, erdemleri çoğaltmak demektir. Farabi herkes herkestenkorktuğu sürece adaletin o toplumda zor tecelli edeceği, birbirine iradî sevgi bağı ile bağlıtoplumlarda ise adaletin hızla tecelli edeceği görüşündendir. Farabi, adalet ve mutlulukarasında ilişki kurar. Mutluluk, yaşamın amacıdır. Bu amaca ulaşmak için adalet erdemininmutlaka gerçekleşmesi gerekir.

Abstract

Al-Farabi’s concept of justice is based on principles of right, competence and share. If thebeing abides by principles of right, competence and share; the World in which there arehuman affairs should also be built upon the principles of right, competence and share. Whenthe balance of right-competence and share system is disturbed in a society, injustice emergesinstantly. In Al-Farabi’s view, justice is always tied to love. In another saying, justice followslove. In virtuous societies, love firstly arises when people act virtuously. Increasing suchmanners with love equals to increasing virtues. Al-Farabi is of the opinion that justice is hardto come out as long as everyone is afraid of each other and adds that justice can emerge quicklyin societies where people are attached to each other with sincere love. Al-Farabi establishes alink between justice and happiness. Happiness is the aim of life, and reaching this aim is onlypossible through the actualization of justice.
