Epilepsi Hastalarda Beyin Manyetik Rezonans Spektroskopi

Abstract

Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy of Brain in Epileptic Patients Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) reveals metabolic changes in the tissue, non-invasively. MRS was found to be useful in investigation of epileptic foci leading to epileptic discharges, the extent of the lesion and follow up of the anti-epileptic drug medication. Key words: epilepsy, magnetic resonance imaging, MR spectroscopy Manyetik rezonans spektroskopi (MRS) ile noninvaziv olarak dokunun metabolik değişiklikleri değerlendirilir. Epilepsili hastalarda epileptik deşarja yol açan beyin lezyonlarının araştırılmasında, lezyonun yaygınlığının değerlendirilmesinde ve anti-epileptik ilaç tedavilerinin takip edilmesinde MRS'in değerli olduğu gösterilmiştir.
