Özet
Bu çalışmada entelektüel ve onun iktidarla ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Çalışmada diğer kuramcıların kavramlaştırmaları dışarıda tutularak, Fransız filozof Michel Foucault’nun iktidar ve entelektüel konusundaki kavramlaştırmaları temel alınmıştır. Foucault’nun kavramlaştırmalarının seçilmesinin nedeni, Foucault’nun entelektüel olarak kendine özgü duruşu, bilgi-iktidar-hakikat arasındaki döngüsel ilişkiyi göstermesi, neoliberal iktidarın işleyiş düzeneklerini ilk kavramlaştıranlardan olmasıdır. Bu çalışmada sırasıyla, Foucault’nun entelektüel, hakikat ve iktidar kavramlaştırmaları, iktidarla mücadele, günümüzde entelektüelin siyasi işlevi, entelektüelin iktidarını kullanma olanakları, mücadele aracı olarak söylem ve söylemin denetimi tartışılacaktır. Çalışma, teorik bir değerlendirmedir. İncelenen konuyu derinleştirmek amacıyla sınırlı ve tarihi örnekler üzerinden entelektüelin iktidarını kullanma olanaklarının nasıl kısıtlandığı Foucault’cu söylem analizine başvurularak gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır.
Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between intelectual and power. The study based on Foucault’s frames of the power and the intellectualism by setting aside the conceptualization of other theorists on this subjects. The reasons which led the researcher to Foucault’s conceptualization were his unique stance as an intellectual, his expression of recursive relationship among knowledge, truth and power and that he was the one who conceptualised the neoliberal power mecanism function for the first time. In this study, the Foucault’s intelectual, truth and power conceptualisation and the struggle with power, political function of intellectual in this age, potentiality of intellectual to use its power, discourse as a means of struggle and its control have been dicussed respectively. It is a theoretical study. In an attempt to deepen the issue; by using some historical examples there searcher tried to show how the intellectual use of its power has been restricted and in this way Foucault’s discourse analysis has been applied.
