20. Yüzyılda meydana gelen totaliter devlet ve şiddeti Platon’a dayandıran Karl Popper’dir. Özellikle Nazilerin Platon’un metaller mitosundan etkilendiğini savunur. Bu makalede Platon’un zorbalık (tiranlık) veya diktatörlük hakkındaki olumsuz düşünceleri ışığında Popper’in tezi çürütülmeye çalışılmıştır
Abstract
It was Karl Popper that attributes the emergence of totalitarion state and violence in the 20th century to Platon. In Particular, Popper argues that the Nazis were influenced by Platon’s metals mithos. In this article we aim to resect Popper’s thes is in the light of Platon’s ideas on tgranny and dictatorship
