Abstract
In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effect of inactive E. coli vaccine administered to pregnant cattle on immunoglobulin (Ig) G levels in colostrums and calf blood serum. For this purpose, a commercial inactive E. coli vaccine was administered to cattle at different stages of their pregnancy (last 60 and 30 days). The colostrums of vaccinated cattle and IgG levels in blood serum of calves fed with these colostrums were analyzed by ELISA. Differences in IgG levels between vaccination groups and control groups were measured and IgG values between groups were compared. When the data of the colostrum samples were examined, it was determined that the difference between the results obtained from the control group and the animals that were vaccinated with one dose and two doses was significant (p
