Neglected intrauterine bilateral congenital knee dislocation

Abstract

Bilateral congenital knee dislocation is a rare deformity whichmay present with other musculoskeletal abnormalities. In theearly period, conservative treatment options have a high chance ofsuccess. However, in later stages, surgical treatment is indicatedin neglected or unresponsive cases to manipulation in the earlyperiod. Herein, we present a rare case of bilateral congenitalknee dislocation which was diagnosed after birth. Retrospectiveexamination revealed that it occurred in the antenatal period andneglected.
