Özet
Amputasyonlar, çeşitli travmalar ve hastalıklar nede¬niyle hastalara uygulanmaktadır. GATA Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji ABD Kliniğinde son beş yılda (1990-1995) amputasyon uygulanan hasta sayısı 594'tür. Amputasyonların 106'sı (% 60.9) 24 yaş ve altı gru¬bunda, 135'inin (% 77.6)'er olduğu, hastaların 145'inin (% 83.4) görev sırasında, 116'sının (% 66.7) mayına basma sonucu yaralandığı ve 97'sinin (% 55.7) yaralanmadan sonra ilk bir saat içinde hastane¬ye ulaştığı tespit edilmiştir. Amputasyon seviyelerinin (% 55.2) dizaltı, (% 21.3) ayak, (% 13.8) dizüstü ve (% 6.3) elamputasyonu ol¬duğu saptanmıştır. Amputasyonluların, amputasyon öncesi çalışma durumlarıyla, amputasyon sonrası eski görevlerine dönmeleri arasında istatistiki yönden fark olduğu sap¬tanmıştır (p < 0.001). Amputasyonlu hastaların reha¬bilitasyon programlarıyla sosyal yaşamlarına dönüşlerinin kolaylaşacağı düşünülmektedir.
Abstract
Amputations are applied because of different traumas and diseases. Number of the patients which are applied amputation at Gülhane Military Medical Academy Orthopedic and Traumatology clinic in last 5 years (1990-1995) is 594. It was determined that 106 of the amputations (60.9 %) are below 24 ages, 135 patients (77.6 %) are soldiers and 145 of the patients (% 83.4 %) are wounded during mision 116 of the patients (66.7 %) injured because of stepping on mine and 97 of the patients (55.7 %) reached to the hospital in one hour after injury.It was determined that levels of the amputations are below the knee (55.2 %), foot (21.3 %), above the knee (13.8%) and hand (6.3 %). It's found that there's a statistical difference between pre and postamputation working conditions of the amputated person.It's tought that with the rehabilitation programs the return of the amputated patients to their social life will be easier.
