Özet

Ahmet Mithatın Zuhur-ı Osmaniyan adlı yarım kalmış bir oyun eleştirisi,kaynaklarda onun bir oyunu olarak geçmektedir. Bu eser Vaçidi tarafından Türkçeyeçevrilen Aleksandre Yani Istamatyadisin Gazi Osman adlı eserinin eleştirisidir.Eleştiride Ahmet Mithat oyun bölümlemesi ve kelimeler üzerinde durduğu gibi,Osman Gazinin, Mal Hatunun sözleri ve davranışlarını beğenmez. Gazi Osmanoyununu okuyunca Ahmet Mithatın eleştirilerini haklı bulmak zorlaşır. Zira oyundöneminin oyunlarından çok daha derli topludur ve eserde bir çeşit kâhin gibikullanılan Çingene kızları, Macbeth oyununun etkisini gösterir. Bu yazıda oyuntanıtılacak ve Ahmet Mithatın görüşleri tartışılacaktır.

Abstract

Ahmet Mithat s Zuhur-ı Osmaniyan (Emergence of Ottoman), isan uncompleted critical article of a play named Gazi Osman by Aleksandre YaniIstamatyadis. The play was translated into Turkish by Vaçidis. In his critic AhmetMithat disagrees the usage of acts and scenes in the play and some words. Afterreading Gazi Osman, it is not easy to agree with Ahmet Mithat s critics. The playis much more decent than the most of the plays written at the time. The Gypsieswho foresee the future events in the play remind the Macbeth s witches. In thisarticle the play and Ahmet Mithat s views will be discussed.
