Özet

Türkiye'de din ve dini eğitim üzerine son yıllarda çeşitli tartışmalar gündemi sıklıkla işgal ediyor. Konu hem hukuki açıdan hem de uygulamada yaşanan sorunlar açısından oldukça önemli. Bu yazıda, çocuğun inanç özgürlüğü hakkı esas alınarak konuya bakılacaktır. Konu, temel sorun alanlarından biri olarak; yasal temsilcilerin çocuğun dini eğitimini belirleme hakkının çocuğun din ve vicdan özgürlüğüne etkisi ve devletin rolü temelinde tartışılacalttır. Bu çalışma konunun önemi ve çok boyutluluğu nedenleriyle, felsefi/etile, psikolojik, sosyolojüc, hukuki ve siyasi boyutlarını da içeren disiplinlerarası bir tartışma ve çalışma daveti olarak da düşünülebilir.

Abstract

In Turkey various discussions on religion and religious education often occupies the agenda in recent years. This subject is veıy important both legally and in terms of problems experienced in practice. This article looks at the issue on the basis of the child's right to freedom of religion/belief The subject will be discussed, as one of the basic problems, on the basis of the right to determine the child's religious education, which is connected to parental rights and of the role of the State. Due to the importance of the subject, and of its multi-dimensional nature, this study can be considered as an invitation for interdisciplinary discussion and study that will include its the philosophical/ethical, psychological, sociological, legal and political dimensions.
