Özet

Simental ırkı, erkek, 3 günlük bir buzağıda sağ kalça ekleminde kraniodorsal luksasyon olgusuyla karşılaşıldı. Ventrodorsal radyografi alındıktan sonra, genel anestezi eşliğinde kaudal taraftan ekleme ulaşıldı. Ligamentum teres'in kaput femoris ucunun eklem kıkırdağı ile birlikte avulse olduğu gözlendi. Ligamentum sacrotuberale latum insertio yerinden bir miktar kemik doku ile birlikte kesilerek serbestleştirildi ve liganıentin orta kısmından kesilmesi ile 'elde edilen greft polyglactin 910 iplikle Ligamentum teres'e dikildi. Kaput femoristen trochanter major'a kadar matkapla bir-tünel açıldı.

Abstract

A case of cranio-dorsal coxofemoral luxation on the right hip joint was observed in a 3 days-old Simmental calf. After vetrodorsal radiography taken, joint was caudally exposed under general anaesthesia, It was seen that ligamentum teres had been avulsed with joint cartilage of caput femoris. Ligamentum sacrotuberale latum,. in insertio site, was released together with a little bit of bone tissue and a graft, which was obtained by cutting the ligament in the middle region, was stitched to ligamentum teres with a polyglactin 910 tread. A tunnel was opened from caput femoris to trochanter major by means of a drill. Two polydioxanon treads were placed in the bone-edge of ligament thus ligament was tighten with enough tension to this channel. Edge of the graft at trochanter major was fixed into the channel by use of a cortical bone screw. Following operation, animal was allowed to his normal motion after 10th day. Animal was followed for a month, then clinical and radiological assessments were made. In this approach, healing was completely occured without any unwanted consequences in this calf.
