Abstract

Endocervicosis is one of the benign mullerian lesions of the cervix, characterized by the extension of the glands lined with endocervical type epithelium with cystic dilated appearance from the cervical wall to the paracervical connective tissue. Endocervicosis often occurs in the bladder and rarely in the cervix. There are case reports in the axillary lymph nodes, small intestine, rectum, old cesarean scar and vagina. Although it is a benign lesion, the pa tients can become symptomatic. Separation of the endocervicosis from the premalignant or malignant lesions of the cervix requires surgical treatment and pathological evaluation. Cervical endocervicosis is a rare entity and few cases have been reported in the literature. In this study, a case of cervical endocervicosis in a multiparous woman is presented.
