Özet

Türk ve İslam devletlerinde toplumsal, iktisadî ve hukukî yönleriyle önemli bir müessese olan vakıflar, Osmanlı Devleti’nde de toplumsal, iktisadî ve hukukî hayatta önemli rol oynamıştır. Vakıflar, başta padişahlarolmak üzere hanedan üyeleri, yüksek rütbeli devlet adamları ve toplumun zengin ve seçkin kişileri tarafından kurulmuştur. 16. yüzyılda Osmanlı hâkimiyetine giren Adıyaman’da da Osmanlı genelinde olduğu gibibey, paşa, şeyh, ağa unvanlı toplumun zengin, güç sahibi ve seçkin kişileri tarafından birçok vakıf kurulmuştur. Abdi Ağa’nın Adıyaman’da kurmuş olduğu vakıflar da bu duruma güzel bir örnek teşkil eder. Buçalışmada, Abdi Ağa’nın 18. yüzyıl sonlarında Hısn-ı Mansur (Adıyaman) ve Behisni (Besni) kazalarındakurmuş olduğu vakıflar ve bu vakıflara ait vakfiyeler incelenmiştir. Konunun daha iyi anlaşılması için vakıfmüessesesi ile ilgili birtakım bilgiler verildikten sonra Abdi Ağa’nın yaptırmış olduğu mektep, medrese vecamilerdeki görevliler ve vakıflara ait vakfiyeler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.

Abstract

The foundations, which are important institutions with their social, economic and legaş aspects in the Turkish and Islamic states, played an important role in the social, economic and legal life in the Ottoman Empire. Ottoman foundations were established by the members of the dynasty, the sultans, the high ranking statemen and the rich and distunguished people of the society. In Adıyaman, which entered the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century, many foundations were founded by the rich, powerful and elite people of the community, such as bey, pasha, sheikh, and the community, just as thoroughout the Ottoman Empire. The foundations that Abdi Ağa established in the Adıyaman constitute a good example. In this study, the foundations of Abdi Ağa, which were founded in Hısn-ı Mansur (Adıyaman) and Behisni (Besni) districts at the end of 18th century, and the foundations belonging to these foundations were examined. With the aim of a better understanding the subject, in the wake of some information about foundations, information was given on the foundations of the schools, madrasahs and attendants in mosques and foundations belonging to the foundations by Abdi Ağa.
