Abstract

Considered as the first regular and powerful state of Eastern Europe, the area of domination of the Caspian State was essentially Eastern Europe and the North Caucasus. The Caspian State, one of the strongest states of the Middle Ages, is directly related to the ethnic events in these lands. The main center of this state, which appeared on the stage of history in the 630s politically, was Belencer and Salamander cities in the North Caucasus, later it was the shore of the Itil river, namely Eastern Europe. Although the migration of Turkish people from the East to the West dates back to ancient times, the main density is IV. It is known to be with the Huns at the end of the century. Since the middle of the 5th century, the dominant influence in the Northern Black Sea and Caucasus has been in the hands of the Turkish-Bulgarian tribes. The Sabars, a Bulgarian tribe that preserved its power and influence in the region until the Avar invasion, constituted the main mass of the Khazars. The Caspian State, which played a dominant role in the region until the middle of the 10th century, is important for the history of the Caucasus. As a matter of fact, the ethnic events in the Caucasus and the subsequent studies on the peoples, cultures, cities and many structures made it necessary to learn about the Caspian state. In the study, the Caspian period of the history of the Caucasus has been examined in line with the sources.
