Nagidos Arkaik, Klasik ve Hellenistik Dönem Mutfak ve Pişirim Kapları
Özet
Makalenin konusu Nagidos kazılarından ele geçen mutfak ve pişirim kaplarıdır. Bunlar arasında çeşitli tipte pişmiş toprak mortarlar, taş mortarlar ve diğer birkaç kaptan oluşan mutfak kapları ile pişirim testisi ve amphoraları, farklı formlarda chytralar, lopaslar, tagenonlar, bir mangal ve kapakları içeren pişirim kapları tespit edilmiştir. Kaplar, Nagidos Akropolü'nün farklı alanlarındaki Θ17, Θ18, Z30, J25, SUR I, SUR II, ЕΦ14, Φ15a, Φ16 sektörlerinden ele geçmiştir. Bu sektörler Nagidos mutfak ve pişirim kaplarının tarihlemeleri için önemli bir kriter olmuştur. Nagidos'ta en erken buluntular, M. Ö. 7. yüzyılın 2. yarısına geri gitmektedir. Arkeolojik buluntular, Nagidos Akropolü'nün M. Ö. 2. yüzyıl ortalarına doğru ise terk edildiğini göstermektedir. Bu süreçte, kentte Arkaik dönemden beri seramik üretiminin olduğu, Hellenistik dönemde ise bunun ivme kazandığı anlaşılmaktadır. Bu çalışma sonucunda, Nagidos'ta Arkaik, Klasik ve Hellenistik dönemlere ait mutfak ve pişirim kapları tespit edilmiştir. Bunların kil renkleri ve içerikleri, kentin ince seramikleriyle paralel özellikler sergilemektedir. Form gruplarının çoğu, antik dünyanın diğer merkezlerinden de bilinen tiplerdir. Bunun yanında özellikle mortarların bazı tiplerinin karşılaştırma örnekleri tespit edilememiştir. Bu veriler Nagidos'ta ince seramiklerle paralel olarak mutfak ve pişirim kaplarının da üretildiğini düşündürmektedir.
Abstract
The subject of this article is the kitchen and cooking containers from Nagidos. Amongst the cooking wares have been identified as such, there are the kitchen containers including various mortars, of terracotta and of stone, and several other containers including cooking jugs and amphoras, chytrai of various forms, lopades, tagenon, a brazier and lids. Utensils, were recovered from the Ө17, Ө18, Z30, J25, SUR I, SUR II, ЕФ14, Ф15a, Ф16 sectors in different areas of the acropolis of Nagidos. These sectors have provided important criteria in the dating of the kitchen and cooking wares of Nagidos.The earliest remains at Nagidos date from the 2nd half of the 7th century B.C. Archaeological remains indicate that the acropolis of Nagidos was abandoned towards the middle of the 2nd century B.C. In the course of excavations it was understood there has been ceramic production since the Archaic period in Nagidos and ceramic production increased in the Hellenistic period. As a result of this study, the kitchen and cooking containers belonging to the Archaic, Classical and Hellenistic periods have been identified at Nagidos. The clay colour and content shares common features with the city's fine ceramics. Most of the groups of forms are of types familiar from other centres of the ancient world. However, parallels with the form of the mortars could not be found. The data suggest that the kitchen ware and the cooking containers were produced in Nagidos in parallel with the production of Nagidos fine ceramic ware.
