Diyotomitin hafif beton üretiminde kullanılması

Özet

Afyonkarahisar ve çevresinde bulunan diyatomit şimdiye kadar agrega olarak hafif beton üretiminde değerlendirilmemiştir. Çalışmada, diyatomit agregalarıyla üretilen hafif betonun mekanik ve fiziksel özelikleri araştırılmıştır. Betonların çimento miktarı 250 ve 400 kg/m3 arasında değiştirilerek su/çimento oranı 0.15 olarak sabit tutulmuştur. Üretilen numuneler üzerinde, basınç dayanımı, ısı iletkenlik, su emme, birim hacim ağırlık, ultrases hızı ve görünen porozite deneyleri yapılmıştır. Ayrıca bazı numunelerin mikro yapısı SEM yoluyla incelenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda sahip olduğu bazı özellikler açısından diyatomitin agrega olarak hafif beton üretiminde değerlendirilebileceği söylenebilir.

Abstract

The use of diatomite found in Turkey and in Afyonkarahisar Region has not been evaluated in the production of lightweight concrete as aggregate up to now. In the study, physical and mechanical properties of lightweight concrete manufactured with diatomite aggregates have been investigated. Cement Content of the concretes have been changed between 250 and 400 kg/m3; but the water/cement ratios were kept constant as 0,15. Compressive strength, thermal conductivity, water absorption, bulk density, ultrasonic pulse velocity and apparent porosity of the concrete have been determined. Microstructures of the specimens were also studied by SEM. According to the experimental test results obtained, diatomite aggregates in the production of lightweight concretes can be satisfactorily used.
