Özet
Güney Kafkasya'nın orta bölgesinde yer alan Gürcistan, türkler'in tarihte sürekli ilişki içerisinde bulundukları bir bölge olmuştur.

Within those relations, having an important place, Georgia usually became the place which the Turcomans attacked many times. Those raids were successfully carried out during the reign of Qara Yusuf, Jahanshah, Uzun Hasan Beg (Long Hasan Beg) and Yaqub Beg. As a result of those raids, in general, the Georgians were obliged to pay tax.
