COVID-19’un Maskeli Kahramanları: Hemşireler

Özet

Yeni Koronavirüs (COVID-19) hastalığı dünyayı etkisi altına alan önemli bir halk sağlığı problemidir. Dünya Sağlık Örgütü, Sağlık Bakanlığı, ulusal ve uluslararası mesleki örgütler, üniversite ve hastaneler iş birliği içerisinde COVID-19 ile her alanda mücadele etmektedir. Sağlık hizmeti sunan tüm kurum ve kuruluşlarda hemşireler 7 gün 24 saat, şüpheli/enfekte/temaslı bireylere, aile ve gruplara tedavi ve hemşirelik bakımı vererek mücadeleye destek vermektedirler. Hemşireler bu süreçte her ne kadar fiziksel ve psikolojik zorlanmalar yaşasalar da özveri ile mücadeleye devam etmektedirler. Bu derleme salgın sürecinde hemşirelerin yaşadıkları fiziksel ve ruhsal zorluklara dikkat çekmek, kullandıkları baş etme yöntemlerini gözden geçirmek ve nitelikli bakım verebilmeleri konusunda desteklemek amacıyla yazılmıştır

Abstract

Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease is an important public health problem affecting the world. The World Health Organization, Ministry of Health, national and international professional organizations, universities and hospitals are fighting against COVID-19 in all areas. Nurses are one of the most important professional groups that support the fight by providing treatment and nursing care to suspicious / infected individuals, families and groups in all institutions and organizations providing health services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Although they experience physical and psychological difficulties in this process, they continue to struggle. This review was written in order to emphasize the difficulties faced by our colleagues in the struggle and to indicate the methods of coping with these difficulties. The new Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease is an important public health problem affecting the world.
