Kıraatlerden azami ölçüde istifade eden müfessirlerden Ebü’l-Leys es-Semerkandî (ö. 373/983), İbn Mücâhid’in (ö. 324/935) etkisiyle Tefsîru’s-Semerkandî adlı eserinde kıraat-i seb‘aya özellikle vurgu yapmaktadır. Şâz kıraatlere de ziyadesiyle müracaat eden müfessir, kıraat ilmi birikimini maharetle tefsirine yansıtmıştır. Bu makalede Ebü’l-Leys es-Semerkandî’nin kıraatleri nakletme yöntemi ve keyfiyeti ele alınacak, kıraat-tefsir ilişkisi bahse konu eser üzerinden muhtelif açılardan irdelenecektir.

Abstract

One of the elements considered by commentators in the commentary (tafseer) of the Quran's verses is the differences in recitation. While a significant part of the differences, which are saheeh and shaz, as mentioned earlier in the accumulation of recitation, do not affect the meaning, others directly or indirectly affect the meaning and contribute to the enrichment of the meaning. Naturally, this situation attracts the commentators’ attention and enables them to benefit from the recitations in the verses' commentary. Ebu'l-Leys as-Semerkandi (ö. 373/983), who was one of the commentators who took advantage of recitations to the maximum extent, emphasizes especially the qiraat-i seba in his work titled Tefsîru’s-Semerkandi, probably with the influence of İbn Mücahid (ö. 324/935). In addition to this, the commentator, who used highly shaz recitations, reflects his knowledge of recitation skillfully to his commentary. In this article, the method and quality of the commentator’s recitation will be discussed, and the relationship between recitation and commentary will be examined from various angles through the work in question.
