Özet

Özet: Günümüz işletmeleri oldukça geniş ve karmaşık bir çevrede faaliyet göstermektedirler. İşletmeler başarılı olmak ve sürekliliklerini sağlamak için, çevreye ve topluma minimum zarar, maksimum faydayı sağlamak zorunda olduklarının bilincindedirler. İşletmeler bir yandan kendi amaçlarını gerçekleştirmeye çalışırken, diğer taraftan toplumun talep ve beklentilerine de cevap vermek zorundadırlar. Özellikle son zamanlardaki gelişmeler ve çevreye karşı duyarsızlıklar, kurumsal aktivitelerin sosyal etkilerinin tekrar gözden geçirilmesi gerekliliğini ortaya çıkarmıştır. İşletmelerin toplumun beklentilerine sosyal sorumluluklarının bir gereği olarak cevap vermemesi, hukuki önlemlerin zorunluluğunu ortaya koymuştur. Artan yasallaşma çabaları, işletmelerin, toplumun beklenti ve duyarlılığının farkına varmasını sağlamıştır.Bu çalışmada genel olarak, işletmelerin çevreye karşı sorumlulukları, öncelikle sosyal boyutuyla, daha sonra da hukuki boyutuyla ele alınmıştır.

Abstract

Abstract: Enterprises of today operate in rather wide and complicated from work. In order to be successful and keep their sustainability, enterprises surely know that they must do minimum harm to environment and society and maintain maximum profit. While enterprises strive to realize their objectives at the save time they have to response to the demands and expectation and of the society. Especially, recent development and intensively towards the environment has made it clear that social effects of institutional activities should be reconsidered. That enterprise has not responded to the needs of the society as a function of their social responsibilities has forced some legal precautions to be taken. Increasing legalization efforts has lead enterprises to get to know the expectations and sensitivity of the society.In the present study, responsibilities of enterprises towards the society have been discussed firstly in their social dimensions and then legal dimensions.
