Abstract

ÇalışmanınThis study analysized whether perceptions, one of the most important problems of the world, change according to the socio-demographic features of individuals or if changed, the structure of the relationship among themselves was studied through optimal scaling multi-variation analysis techniques. The study used the data from World Values Survey 2008 and socio-demographic variations that are effective on the thoughts related to the most important problem around the world were determined by Categorical Regression and the relations were interpreted through homogenity analysis graphic. As a result of the analyses applied, it was found that importance attached to education and environment increased in case of medium or upper level income. Regarding age, the younger-middle aged give more importance to the problem of education compared to other age groups, those especially with higher level of education are more sensitive on the issues concerning environment.
