Beyin cerrahisinde günübirlik cerrahi uygulamalar ve sonuçlarımız

Özet

Amaç: Günübirlik cerrahi, hastaların ameliyat edildikleri gün taburcu edilerek evlerine gönderilmesi şeklindeki bir tedavi yaklaşımıdır. Özellikle gelişmiş ülkelerde elektif cerrahilerin % 60-70’ i günübirlik cerrahi uygulaması şekilde yapılmaktadır. Ülkemizde cerrahinin değişik branşlarında giderek daha yaygın bir şekilde uygulanmaktadır. Beyin cerrahisinde ise periferik sinir cerrahisi dışında uygulanması ancak son yıllarda gündeme gelmiştir. Günübirlik cerrahi uygulaması beyin cerrahisinde periferik sinir cerrahisi dışında da uygulanması gereken bir yöntem olmalıdır. Yöntem ve Gereçler: Bu çalışmamızda bir yıllık süre içinde beyin cerrahisinde günübirlik cerrahi uygulaması sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışmaya beyin cerrahisinde genellikle lokal anestezi altında yapılan periferik sinir cerrahisi uygulamaları dahil edilmemiştir. Bulgular: Bir yıllık yıllık sürede toplam 496 hasta opere edilmiş olup bunların 149‘unda günübirlik cerrahi uygulanmıştır. Hasta sonuçları değerlendirildiğinde herhangi bir olumsuz veri elde edilememiştir. Sonuç: Günübirlik cerrahi uygulaması tedavi maliyetlerinin azaltılması, hasta memnuniyetinin artırılması amacı ile anestezi ve cerrahi alandaki gelişmelere paralel olarak bütün dünyada gittikçe artan oranda uygulanan bir yöntemdir. Cerrahinin diğer alanlarında olduğu gibi beyin cerrahisinde de hasta memnuniyeti, sosyal güvenlik kurumlarına olan ekonomik maliyetin azaltılması ve sınırlı yatak kapasitesi ile çok sayıda hastaya hizmet verilebilmesi açısından yaygın olarak kullanılması gereken bir uygulamadır.

Abstract

Aim:Ambulatory surgery, is a kind of surgical procedure where the patients werw discharged from the hospital at the same day with the surgery. Especially in improved contries 60-70% of elective surgeries are performed as for the day surgical procedures. Also in our country , in different branches of surgeries , for the day surgery procedure is being used more widespread. In neurosurgery except peripheric nevre surgery , for the day surgical procedures are just being used in the last a few years. For the day surgery should also be used as a method in the other neurosurgical procedures except peripheric nevre surgery. Meterıal And Methods: In Neurosurgey For The Day Surgical Procedures And Our Results In this our study we evaluated the results of for the day surgery in the last one year. We did’nt include the peripheric nevre surgeries results in which mostly local anesthesia was used. Findings: In 1 year period 496 patients were operated and in 149 of them for the day surgery procedure was used. When the patient results were evaluated no negative outlooks were found. Result: For the day surgery procedure is being used in more wide spread percents, in the whole world paralel to the improvements of anesthesia and surgery , in order to lessen the therapy costs and increase the patient satisfaction. As if in the other surgical procedures , in neurosurgery, for the day surgical procedures should be used more frequently to improve the patient satisfaction, to lessen the costs for social security institution and to serve more patients with the limited patient bed capacity.
