Posterior Subtenon Triamsinolon Asetonid Enjeksiyonu Kullanılan Bir Purtscher Retinopatisi Olgusunda Klinik Seyir

Use of Posterior Subtenon Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection in the Treatment of Purtscher’s Retinopathy

Özet

Kırk yaşında erkek hasta travma sonrası sol gözde ani görme kaybı ile kliniğimize başvurdu. Görme düzeyleri Snellen eşeli ile sağ gözde 10/10, sol gözde 1 metreden parmak sayma idi. Her iki göz ön segment muayenesi ve sağ göz fundus muayenesi doğaldı. Sol göz fundus muayenesinde optik disk ve maküla çevresinde retinal beyazlaşma alanları ve intaretinal hemorajiler mevcuttu. Optik koherans tomografide subretinal sıvı ve papillomaküler alanda retinal kalınlaşma görüldü. Mevcut bulgular ve hastanın kliniği ile hastada Purtscher retinopatisi olduğu düşünüldü. Posterior subtenon triamsinolon asetonid 40mg/1ml 0.5cc yapılarak takip edilen olguyu, literatürde uygulanan tedavi açısından benzer olgu azlığı nedeniyle sunmayı amaçladık.

Abstract

A 40-year-old male patient was admitted to our clinic with sudden vision loss in the left eye after head trauma. Visual acuities are counting finger from 1 meter in the left eye 10/10 with Snellen chart in right eye. Anterior segment examination of both eyes and fundus examination of the right eye was normal. Fundus examination of the left eye revealed retinal whitening areas and intraretinal hemorrhages around the optic disc and macula, and optical coherence tomography showed subretinal fluid and retinal thickening in the papillomacular area. It was thought that the patient's clinical presentation was fitting to Purtscher’s retinopathy with the present findings. We aimed to present the case with Purtscher’s retinopathy treated with subtenon triamcinolone acetonide 40mg/1ml 0.5cc because of very few published cases with similar treatment experience until now
