HAVAYOLU YOLCU TAŞIMACILIĞI SEKTÖRÜNÜN FİNANSAL PERFORMANS GÖSTERGELERİNİN MAKROEKONOMİK ANALİZİ: ORAN ANALİZİ YÖNTEMİ İLE COVID-19 SÜRECİ VE ÖNCESİNE İLİŞKİN BİR KARŞILAŞTIRMA

Özet
Havacılık sektörü, birden fazla alt sektörü içerisinde barındıran önemli bir sektördür. Bu sektörde yer alan havayolu yolcu taşımacılığı sektörü ise, ülke ekonomileri üzerinde oldukça önemli bir rol üstlenmektedir. Bununla birlikte, günümüzde zaman kavramının böylesine önem kazandığı bir ortamda havayolu yolcu taşımacılığı sektörünün insanların ulaşım ihtiyaçlarına en hızlı şekilde çözüm üreten bir sektör olduğunu ifade etmek mümkündür. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Covid-19 pandemi süreci ve öncesinde havayolu yolcu taşımacılığı sektörünün finansal performansının analiz edilerek makroekonomik değişkenlerden istihdam ve ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkilerinin ortaya konulması ve sonuçlarının değerlendirilmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası tarafından yayımlanan sektör bilançoları arasında yer alan ulaştırma sektörünün alt sektörü olan havayolu yolcu taşımacılığı sektöründe oran analizi yöntemiyle finansal tablolar analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Covid-19 pandemi süreci ve öncesine yönelik yapılan analiz sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, ilgili makroekonomik göstergeler ışığında değerlendirilmiştir.
Abstract
The aviation industry is an important industry that includes more than one sub-sector. The airline passenger transportation sector, which is in this sector, plays a very important role on the economies of the countries. In addition to this, in an environment where the concept of time has gained such importance today, it is possible to state that the airline passenger transportation sector is the one that produces the fastest solution to the transportation needs of people. The aim of this study is to analyze the financial performance of the airline passenger transportation sector during and before the Covid-19 pandemic, to reveal the effects of macroeconomic variables on employment and economic growth, and to evaluate the results. For this purpose, financial statements analysis was carried out by using ratio analysis method in the airline passenger transportation sector, which is a sub-sector of the transportation sector, which is among the sector balance sheets published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. The findings obtained as a result of the analysis made for the Covid-19 pandemic process and before were evaluated in the light of the relevant macroeconomic indicators.
