A DECISION MAKING APPROACH FOR SELECTING SUSTAINABLE SUPPLIER BASED ONSPHERICAL FUZZY VIKOR

Özet

Son yıllarda, şirketler sürdürülebilirlik konusunda çalışmakta ve bir dizi ticari fayda sağlamak için bu kavramı sosyal, çevresel ve ekonomik boyutlarıyla uygulamaya çalışmaktadırlar. Günümüzde, tedarikçilerin ürün performansının doğrudan belirleyicisi olması ve şirketlere yüksek oranlarda katma değer sağlaması gibi avantajları ele alındığında, tedarikçiler ve tedarik zincirleri şirketlerin başarısı için kritik önemli hale gelmektedir. Şirketlerin, sürdürülebilirlik perspektifi temel alan yaklaşımlar geliştirerek kendilerine rekabet avantajı sağlayabilecek ve şirket stratejilerine uygun sürdürülebilir tedarikçiler seçmesi gerekmektedir. Bu karar sürecinde yüksek belirsizlik, çelişen hedefler, çoklu çıkarlar ve perspektifler içermesi sebebiyle Çok Kriterli Karar Verme (ÇKKV) tekniklerinden küresel bulanık VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija IKompromisno Resenje (KB-VIKOR) metodu kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın özgünlüğü, literatürde yeni olan bu yöntemin sürdürülebilir tedarikçi seçimi problemi için ilk kez gerçek bir vaka çalışmasıyla uygulanmasından kaynaklanmaktadır.

Abstract

In recent years, companies have been working on sustainability as a concept that focuses on, and have tried to apply this concept with its social, environmental and economic dimensions to generate a range of commercial benefits. Today, when the advantages of suppliers such as being the direct determinant of product performance and providing companies with high levels of added value are considered, suppliers and supply chains become critical for the success of companies. Companies should select sustainable suppliers that can provide them with competitive advantage and comply with company strategies by developing approaches based on a sustainability perspective. Since this selection is a decision process that includes high uncertainty, conflicting goals, multiple interests and perspectives, the spherical fuzzy VlseKriterijumska Optimizacija IKompromisno Resenje (SFVIKOR) method, one of the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) techniques, was used for the selection of the most suitable supplier. The originality of the study stems from the fact that this technique, which is new in the literature, was applied for the first time in a real case study for the sustainable supplier selection problem.
