Abstract
One of the concepts that have gained importance within the current debates on democracy in recent years is post-democracy. Effective political scientists such as Claus Offe (2008) emphasize that the concept describe the view of democratic collapse correctly. The concept that the book of Colin Crouch (2004) largely reveals, paves the way for a variety of discussion today. Basically, these discussions identify the crisis as much as a transition period. This diagnosis is directly related to neoliberalism, which is a basic, and a conflict creating understanding of political theory. The proliferation of the neoliberal faith, in other words, the political thinking that establishes its action standards firstly in the direction of the interests of economic operators, is counted to be both the reason and the tool for the post-democratization experienced in today's Western democracies. Post-democracy could give useful ideas about transformation in the Western democracies that problematize the established democratic norms but it is still a concept needs to be developed.
