Abstract

It is essential to admit that the genesis of the modern idea of nature starts withCopernicus. The idea of universe he put forward points to the shortcomings of the idea of theuniverse proposed by of Aristotle and Ptolemy. Also, his ideas led to changes in the establishedrecognitions related to the human, nature and universe, arising from their design, and are themain reason for the genesis of new recognitions. Therefore, the new idea of universe he proposedcould only be completed with the works of Brahe, Galileo, Kepler and Newton. Scientificdevelopments and the thought structure of the period are emphasized. The purpose of this articleis to depict a clear picture of the idea of nature that dominated the modern period after explaining this development in the light of the achievements of the above-mentioned scientists. It should benoted that the overall discussion is entirely in the light of developments in physics andastronomy.
