İŞİTME CİHAZI KULLANAN ÇOCUKLARIN AİLELERİNİN YAŞAM KALİTESİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Özet

Amaç: Tek taraflı ve çift taraflı işitme cihazı kullanan çocuk hastaların ailelerinin yaşam kalitesini değerlendirmek Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmaya işitme cihazı kullanan 121 çocuğun ebeveynleri dahil edilmiştir. Katılımcılara Mf07-01, Çalışması Yaşam Kalitesi (Sf36) Formu ve Beach Center Aile Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği (BCAYKÖ) uygulanmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya alınan katılımcıların 69’u kadın iken 52’si ise erkektir. Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması 37,54 ± 5,63 idi. 17 kişi ilkokul, 24 kişi ortaokul, 63 kişi lise, 17 kişi üniversite mezunu idi. Çalışmamızda katılımcılardan cihaz bakım ve ayarlamasında zorluk yaşayanların Yaşam Kalitesi ölçeği ve BCYKÖ alt boyutları olan duygusal yeterlilik, finansal / fiziksel / materyal yeterlilik değişkenlerinden aldıkları puanlar istatiksel olarak anlamlı derecede düşük bulunmuştur (p

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the quality of life of the families of pediatric patients using unilateral and bilateral hearing aids. Materials and Methods: Parents of 121 children who used hearing aids were included in the study. The Mf07-01, Study Quality of Life (P36) Form and the Beach Center Family Quality of Life Scale (BCAYKÖ) were administered to the participants. Results: While 69 of the participants included in the study were female, 52 were male. The mean age of the participants was 37.54 ± 5.63. 17 persons were primary school graduates, 24 persons were secondary school graduates, 63 persons were high school graduates, and 17 persons were university graduates. In our study, the scores of the participants who had difficulties in device maintenance and adjustment on the Quality of Life Scale and the emotional competence, financial / physical / material adequacy variables, which are the sub-dimensions of BCILC, were found to be statistically significantly lower.
