Abstract

Ekim, T. (2002). Propagation of Sternbergia lutea (L) Ker-Gawl. ex Sprengel in Turkey. The Karaca Arboretum magazine 6(3): 131-136. In English and Turkish. Sternbergia lutea (L.) Ker-Gawl. ex Sprengel is widely propagated on a non-commercial basis in the villages of Turkey's Marmara region. At the same time, some export companies propagate this plant on a commercial scale in their fields. This paper discusses the present state of these activities and what is needed for the future.
