Özet

Bu çalışmada, Ocak 2005-Temmuz 2007 tarihleri arasında İzmir Körfezi’nde aylık olarak gerçekleştirilen trol çekimleri sonucunda elde edilen Scorpaenidae familyasına ait iki türün (Scorpaena notata, Scorpaena porcus) morfometrik ve meristik karakterleri ölçülerek, boy-ağırlık ilişkisi parametreleri belirlenmiştir. Araştırma periyodu süresince körfezden, 658 adet Scorpaena notata ve 221 adet Scorpaena porcus bireyi incelenmiştir. Abstract

In this study, 2 species (Scorpaena notata, Scorpaena porcus) belong to Scorpaena genus were caught monthly by trawl surveys carried out between January 2005-July 2007 in İzmir Bay, in order to determine of morfometric and meristic characteristics and length-weigth relationships parameters. During the research period, 658 Scorpaena notata and 221 Scorpaena porcus indi-viduals were investigated. The lenght-weight relationship of fishes were estimated as W=0.0164*L3.074 (r2=0.960) and W=0.0209*L2.987 (r=0.993) for Scorpaena notata and Scorpa-ena porcus, respectively.
