Özet

Amaç Bu çalışmanın amacı lomber patlama kırıklarında deformitenin düzeltilmesi ve bu düzelmenin korunmasında kısa ve uzun segment posterior fiksasyon yöntemlerinin karşılaştırılmasıdır. Gereç ve Yöntemler Bu çalışmada 2000-2008 yılları arasında lomber patlama kırığı nedeniyle kliniğimizde cerrahi olarak tedavi edilmiş olan 40 hasta (9 kadın, 31 erkek) retrospektif olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular Çalışmaya dahil edilen 38 hastanın 12sinde L3, 26sında L2 yaralanması mevcuttu. Kırık sonrası oluşan sagittal deformiteler ameliyat öncesi, ameliyat sonrası ve takip grafilerinde anterior korpus yükseklik kaybı (AKYK), sagittal indeks ve lokal kifoz açısı (LKA) ile değerlendirildi. Sonuç İki grup arasında AKYK ve LKA değerlendirmelerinde ve takiplerdeki düzelme miktarlarındaki kayıplar arasında istatistiksel olarak fark bulunmadığı izlendi.

Abstract

Aim The aim of this study was to compare the effect of short segment and long segment posterior fixation methods on deformity correction and preservtion of correction in lumbar burst fractures. Material and Methods In this study we evaluate 40 patients (9 female, 31 male) treated surgically due to lumbar burst fracture between 2000 and 2008. Results Twenty six L2 fractures, twelve L3 fractures of 38 patients were included in this study. Sagittal deformities after the fracture were evaluated by preoperatively, postoperatively and last follow up X-rays according to anterior corpus height loss (ACHL), sagittal index and local kyphosis angle (LKA). Conclusions Between two groups there were no statistically difference of ACHL and LKA. In follow up there were no differrence between correction loss of two groups.
