Özet

Amaç: Hepatit B Virüs infeksiyonu (HBV) tüm tünyada önemli bir sağlık problemidir. Karaciğer biyopsisi kronik hepatit hastalığında karaciğer hasarı göstermek için altın standarttır. Karaciğer hasarının belirleyebilmek için birçok noninvaziv test incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada amacımız kronik hepatit B (KHB) hastalarda fibrozis belirteçi olarak ortalama trombosit hacminin (OTH ) rolünü araştırmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Toplam 33 KHB hastası ve 37 sağlıklı kişiden oluşan kontrol grubu çalışmaya alındı. KHB hastaları fibröz skoru 0-3 olanlar ve 4-6 olanlar olmak üzere iki gruba ayrıldı. Tüm veriler hasta dosyaları ve bilgisayar kayıtları incelenerek elde edilmiştir. Bulgular: KHB hastalarının yaş ortalaması 35.62±14.62 ve kontrol grubunun yaş ortalaması 39.24±13.01 idi. KHB grubunda OTH 8.95±0.50 ve kontrol grubunda 8.67±0.57 bulundu.Bu iki grup arasında istatistiksel fark olduğu görüldü(p

Abstract

Aim: Hepatitis B virus infection is a major public health problem. Hepatitis B Liver biopsy is the gold standard procedure for documenting liver damage in chronic hepatitis.Many noninvassive tests have been studied for the determining the liver damage. We aımed this study to evaluate the role of mean platelet volume (MPV) as a fibrosis marker in patients with chronic hepatitis B. Material and Method: Thirty three patients with Chronic hepatitis B(CHB) were enrolled retrospectively into the study and 37 healthy subjects were used as control group. Patient with CHB infection were divided into two groups:patients with fibrosis score 0-3 and 4-6. Data were obtained from the patients files and a computerized database. Results:The mean age of the patients with CHB was 35.62±14.62 and the control group was 39.24±13.01. The mean platelet volume was 8.95±0.50 in CHB group and 8.67±0.57 in the control group.There was a statiscically significant difference between the groups(p
