Epididymal cavernous haemangioma mimicking intrascrotal malignancy

Abstract

A 22-year-old man was admitted with the. complaint of a large solid mass within his scrotum that increased rapidly in size. An intrascrotal malignancy was suspected. Scrotal ultrasonography showed a mobile mass of 24x14 mm that has heteregeneous hypoechogenity with a probable attachment to the epididymis. Ser¬um tumor markers were found within normal levels. Surgical exploration was per¬formed and pathology revealed cavernous heamangioma.
