Abstract
Once a second tumor has been found, the problem is to determine whether this represents a new primary tumor or metastases from the original malignancy. We present a case of nasopharyngeal carcinoma that appeared 4.5 years later in a pa¬tient cured from laryngeal carcinoma. Cancers metastatic to the nasopharynx are rarities. Although the clinical features of metastatic and secondary malignant dis¬ease can be a clue to the correct diagnosis.
