Abstract

Achalasia of the esophagus is a relatively rare problem in children of unknown etiology. As it usually presents in adult life, the diagnosis is often delayed in childhood. Achalasia is known to be associated with various disorders, triple-A syndrome (Achalasia, alacrima, adrenal insufficiency) being the most known. We describe a child with esophageal achalasia who presented with various multisystemic manifestations.
