Özet
Amaç: Hirschsprung Hastalığını da içeren çoklu anomali ve tipik bir yüz görünümü ile seyreden bir klinik olgunun literatür bilgileri eşliğinde sunulmasıdır. Olgu Sunumu: Mowat-Wilson Sendromu (MWS), kabızlıktan total kolonik aganglionozise kadar geniş bir yelpaze içinde, kolonik sorunları da içeren ve bu yüzden Hirschsprung Hastalığı (HH)’nın fizyopatolojisine ışık tutabilecek bir sendromdur. Sonuç: MWS ile beraber bulunan HH ağır bir klinik durum oluşturabilir. MWS’nin HH ile birlikteliği kural olmamakla birlikte olguların % 50’sinde bulunmakta ve klinik seyri farklılıklar gösterebilmektedir.
Abstract
Aim: In this study we represent a clinical case of Mowat-Wilson Syndrome (MWS) with Hirschsprung disease (HD), multiple anomalies, and typical facial features. Case Presentation: Since MWS, represents colonic disorders in a wide spectrum ranging from milder form of constipation to severe total colonic aganglionosis , this syndrome can shed a light on pathophysiology of HD. Conclusion: MWS together with HD can result in a severe clinical condition. Although MWS-HD concomitancy is not the rule, it can be detected in 50 % of the cases demonstrating different clinical courses.
