Özet

İnsanlar kendilerini soğuktan, sıcaktan veya dışarıdan gelecek her türlü tehlikeye karşı koruyan evlerini yaşadıkları çevrede bulunan malzeme ve iklim şartlarına göre inşa etmişlerdir. Gaziantep evleri de bölgede bol miktarda bulunan taştan yapılmıştır. Sıcak iklim bölgelerine yakınlığı nedeniyle evler (odalar) bir avlu etrafında şekillenmiştir. Bunun sonucu olarak evlerin oda sayısı artmıştır. Ev satış kayıtlarından; evin, alan ve satanın unvanlarını, hangi mahallede olduğunu, sınırlarını, oda sayısını, diğer müştemilatım, fiyatını ve niçin satıldığını öğrenmekteyiz.

Abstract

People have built their houses, that protect themselves from severe cold/hot weather conditions and from all other types of danger that may come from outdoors, with the use of materials available around and also by considering the climatic conditions. Traditional Gaziantep houses have been constructed from the stones which are richly available in the district. The houses (rooms) have been generally designed around a court by considering hot climatic conditions. As a result, the number of rooms in the houses has been increased. From the sales records, one can find information on the houses; the identities of the buyers/sellers, the district, the borders, the number of rooms, other features, the sale prices and as the reason of why it was sold.
