An Examination on Articles About Environment Published at the Journals of Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences in Turkey

Özet

Bir bilim disiplinin belirli aralıklarla, kendi bilimsel yayın birikimini değerlendirmesi, disiplinin geleceği bakımından önemlidir. Bu bilimsel çalısmaların önemli bir kısmı makale biçiminde ve dergilerde yayımlanmaktadır. Bu nedenle dergiler, bu tür değerlendirmeler için önemli olanaklar sağlamaktadır. Türkiye’de çevreyle ilgili disiplinlerin olusturduğu yayın birikimi bu tür bir çalısmayı gerektirecek olgunluğa erismistir. ĐĐBF çatısı altında toplanan disiplinlerin her biri çevreye iliskin çalısmalar üretmektedir ve üniversitelerin Đktisadi ve Đdari Bilimler Fakültesi (ĐĐBF) dergileri bu birikimin önemli bir kısmını içermektedir. Türkiye’de ĐĐBF bünyesindeki disiplinler için en yaygın yayın ortamı ĐĐBF dergileridir. Bu çalısmada, ĐĐBF dergilerinde yayımlanan çevreye iliskin makalelerinin bibliyografyası olusturulmus, bibliyografya ve atıf çözümlemesi yoluyla bu çalısmaların niceliksel olarak değerlendirmesi yapılmıs ve bulgular sınıflandırılarak ortaya konmus ve yorumlanmıstır.

Abstract

It is important in respect of future of a discipline that a discipline evaluates its own accumulation of publications at certain intervals. Most of the scientific research are published as articles at journals. Therefore, journals provide considerable opportunities for the such evaluations. The accumulation of publications of the disciplines interested in environment in Turkey has reached to the level maturity for such an attempt. Every discipline takes place in the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) has produced researches about environment and the journals of FEAS have covered a great majority of research concerned. In Turkey, the most popular platform for publications of the disciplines of FEAS is the journals of the FEAS. In this study, the bibliography of articles concerning environment published in the journals of FEAS has been produced; those articles have been examined quantitatively by the analysis of bibliography and citations; the findings have been classified and interpreted.
