HPLC studies on some Rumex species growing in Turkey

Özet
Bu çalışmada 4 antrakinon aglikonu (aloe emodin, emodin, krizofanol, fiskiyon) esas alınarak, 11 Rumex (Polygonaceae) türünün köklerinden hazırlanan ekstrelere kalitatif YBSK analizi uygulanmıştır. Bir tür hâriç diğer bütün türlerin, antrakinon aglikonlarmın hepsini içerdikleri görülmüştür. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, antrakinon içeriği ve morfolojik yapı arasında herhangi bir ilişki bulunamamıştır.
Abstract
This report describes a qualitative HPLC analysis of the root ex¬tracts of eleven Rumex species (Polygonaceae) on the basis of the characteristics of four main anthraquinones aglycones which are aloe emodin, emodin, chrysophanol and physcion. Except one, all of the species contained the anthraaglycones which are mentioned above. According to the results there is no obvious correlation obtained between the chemical and morphological structures.
