Özet

Çalışma, sağlık çalışanlarının öz liderlik becerilerinin, iş tatmin düzeyleri ve iş performansları ileilişkilerini araştırmak üzere yapılmıştır. Öz liderlik literatüründe Türkiye'deki çalışmalarincelendiğinde, sağlık sektöründe yeterince araştırmanın bulunmadığı görülmektedir. Bu kapsamdaaraştırma Gaziantep ilinde özel bir hastanede çeşitli görevlerde çalışan hekim, diğer sağlık personelive destek personeli ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma hipotezleri, çoklu regresyon analizleri ile test edilmiştir.Çalışmada ayrıca tanımlayıcı istatistiksel bulgular, öz liderlik stratejileri ve faktörleri ile değişkenlerarası korelasyon düzeyleri incelenmiştir. Araştırmada sağlık çalışanlarının öz liderlik becerilerinin, iştatmin düzeyleri ve iş performanslarını etkilediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Ayrıca yapıcı düşüncestratejilerinin iş performansı üzerinde, davranış odaklı stratejilerin ise iş tatmini üzerinde daha etkiliolduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sağlık sektörüne hem teorik hem de pratik anlamda katkısağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to examine the relation of sel f-leadership skills with healthprofessionals job satisfaction levels and job performance. When studies in sel f leadership literaturein Turkey were examined, it can be seen that there were not enough studies in the health sector. In thiscontext, the study was conducted at a private hospital in Gaziantep province with participation ofpeople from various occupations including doctors, support employees and other health staff. Studyhypotheses were tested via multiple regression analyses. In the study, also descriptive statisticalfindings, sel f-leadership strategies and factors correlation levels with other variables were examined.The study result shows that health staff sel f-leadership skills affect job satisfaction rates and jobperformance. Additionally, it was found that constructive thought strategies are more effective on jobperformance similar to behavior focused strategies on job satisfaction. It is thought that the study willcontribute to health sector in the sense of both theoretical and practical
